While education qualifications are prerequisite for a career in big data whether as a big data scientist or big data analyst, technical and soft skills are other prerequisites to succeed in your career. Certifications: We know that education should be on top but we assume that you have required qualifications when you are planning a career in big data either as big data analyst or big data scientist. Certifications from the reputed certifications bodies add validation to your qualifications and skills. You may go for certification in data science or certification in big data analytics and then move your way up to the big data science certifications. While certifications add to your value as an employee, it is advised to get certifications from reputed bodies that are recognized by prospective employers.
